About Tucker's Hobbies

We are a full service hobby shop specializing in high quality HO and N scale model trains, books, videos, tools, parts and accessories, and much more, with an emphasis on railroading in the New England area and the Northeastern United States. We carry a large stock of railroad-related hobby items at our store in Warren, Massachusetts, and can ship and special order anything to meet your needs. Our staff are knowledgeable model railroaders and rail enthusiasts and can serve your needs in all areas of the hobby.

The original Tucker's store location on Main Street began as a hardware business, and was operated from 1906 by Arthur S. Tucker. The business eventually passed to his grandson, Bob Buck. Over the years, a railroad hobby component formed and grew until it crowded out the hardware portion of the store. In 1980, the hardware business was sold and Tucker's Hobbies was born. We have been serving the railroad hobby community from our location on Bacon Street, just off Main Street, for over 25 years.

Unlike many Internet mail order businesses, you can visit our store in person, examine the products up close before you buy, share experiences and get advice from our staff and fellow modelers.
