Saturday, October 12, 1929
Darling Marjorie gave birth to a 6 lb. 11 oz. boy Robert Arthur Buck this morning about 8 o'clock. Both are doing well. Jim and I went over about 10 o'clock and saw the little dear and Marj had just come out of the ether. Alice and I went over after dinner and Albert brought Ruth and Anna at 5 o'clock and they saw the baby too. May God's richest blessing be upon them and may he [be] the means of much good in this world. Now we are grandpa and grandma. How we are blessed!
